2016-05-31 09:43:22 Alessandro Morgantini description Hello! I'm using Ubuntu Trusty 14.04.4 for i386 architecture with all security updates. The "offendig" package is libpam-smbpass 2:4.3.9+dfsg-0ubuntu0.14.04.3 netatalk is version 3.1.8 compiled from sources. After one of the late "apt-get update" & "apt-get upgrade", connecting to my AFP (netatalk) server from all my Macs is not possible. The issue is exactly this (with exactly same log messages): http://askubuntu.com/questions/511056/updating-to-14-04-1-lts-broke-netatalk-mounts Unistalling libpam-smbpass package, as suggested in the page above, solved immediately. I would like to keep on using both natatalk and libpam-smbpass, because libpam-smbpass gives a very convenient way to keep in sync Unix passwords and Samba passwords. Hello!
