Comment 2 for bug 2025691

I don't see much wrong about the contents of the 1.69, except that the changelog misses potentially important changes that I see in the git log, e.g. the removal of a patch because it's "not longer used" (I'd like some more explanations about that please? What changed?), the modifications to config.toml.in...

You know me, "why?" is my favorite question ;)
