[Intrepid] gtk2.so in Ruby 1.8 has undefined symbol

Bug Description

Both Gnome-Art & Gnome-Splashscreen-Manager are not working in Intrepid currently. Terminal output is:

dean1@linux:~/Desktop$ gnome-art
ruby: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/i486-linux/gtk2.so: undefined symbol: gtk_file_system_error_quark
dean1@linux:~/Desktop$ gnome-splashscreen-manager
ruby: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/i486-linux/gtk2.so: undefined symbol: gtk_file_system_error_quark

Please advise of more information needed.

This also affects kazehakase and I expect all other ruby-gnome2 applications.
I just committed a patched version of 0.17.0~rc1 (0.17.0~rc1-1ubuntu1) which should solve this problem. Please test and report here if it fails to fix this issue for you.

      add explicit Build-Depends on libjpeg62-dev
    - debian/patches:
      add gtk+r20440.patch: in gtk+ commit 20440 GtkFileSystemError and
      gtk_file_system_error_quark have been removed:

I am affected by this bug in multiple packages, and do not have ruby-gnome2 installed.
