Bug Description

when I want to restart rsyslog it fails:

root@mail1:~# service rsyslog restart
stop: Unknown instance:
rsyslog start/running

It occurs many times. Possible it depend on logrotate, because every day logging stops (all logfiles are empty), but rsyslog is still running.

The only thing I can do is to kill rsyslogd and start it again with the service command.

Any Update??? This Bug is really critical, because logrotate trigger its every day, and the messages get logget in to filename.1 instead to logfile.
