Thanks taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - the Gutsy Gibbon.

If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please follow the instructions for "How to request new packages" at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports#request-new-packages .

miked - Thanks for adding your crash report to this bug, however it ischallenging to deal with as a ".crash" file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer.

If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit.
If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report.

I tried posting bug report with apport and though it might added relate info, but it only added:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rss-glx/+bug/92352/comments/9
so I opened new bug, which will probably make others mad.

There is a major problem with uninitialised values. See the attached valgrind log.

I cannot figure out what's going on here though.

Does anyone know what upstream bug-tracker this software is associated with? I cannot seem to find it.
