rsibreak does not work very well in unity. It only sometimes seems to pop up the "Take a break" window. Many times it's as if the timer has not run out. The rsibreak dock icon shows a pink X inside the blue-purple countdown timer icon.
I've sometimes used unity and kept some/most of the windows not maximised and rsibreak seems to work regularly then. If I keep windows maximised (which is the unity standard), then rsibreak often times doesn't popup the window, and hence doesn't work.
rsibreak is the only installable RSI break programme in ubuntu 11.10 (workrave is not packaged and the old typing break software in gnome has been removed). For those of us who suffer from RSI, or use Ubuntu in a workplace in the EU, it's important that there is a working typing break feature.
