Bug Description
[Impact]
This package is unavailable in 22.04, the latest Ubuntu LTS release. This means Ubuntu users need to use a non-LTS release on their host system if they wish to manage their Bluefield controllers. BlueField controllers are generally expected to be installed in data center environments, which is an environment in which we expect LTS releases to be generally preferred.
[Test Case]
On a system w/ BlueField controller:
sudo apt install rshim
Verify /dev/rshim0/* devices are populated.
Access the BF device, e.g. 'sudo screen /dev/rshim0/
[What Could Go Wrong]
Introducing a new package should have negligible risk in a pure Ubuntu environment - one has to opt-in to receive it. There is a risk for users who may have installed an rshim deb from NVIDIA[*], and would now transition to Ubuntu's version on an apt upgrade. I've tested this upgrade path and it seems to be problem-free. I'm also in touch with the NVIDIA developers so we can work with them to resolve any issues that do arise.
