Bug Description

Binary package hint: root-system

For the release of ubuntu/kubuntu 9.04 intrepid and 9.10 karmic koala
the installation of ROOT package as suggested in the ubuntu/kubuntu forums or in the root.cern.ch page does not run.

Even the synaptic manager (or the Kpackagekit for kubuntu) does not link the dependences of the file

root-system
or
root-system-bin

all the package listed on the synaptica manager (even the sigle library libroot, for example) have the same problem.
The problem is te same if we try to install the package by printing command line on the shell.

The error message is the seguent:
"Dependences of this package could not be satisfied."

and the installatio crashed.

any ideas!?
