failed rocksndiamonds during synaptic install

I am running Ubuntu 9.04 desktop 32-bit i386. I have a HP G60 244-DX laptop. 3G RAM, Athlon 64 X2. I was installing rocksndiamonds using Synaptic. I did not check all of the available games. I left the top two unchecked during install. The install failed with errors. Later when I tried to run rocksndiamonds, it complained about missing data files.
