Ricochet is not, in fact, online

Bug Description

The internet connection went out last night. Wifi connection, no connection past the router at first and eventually no connection even to the router. It was down for about 12 hours. Ricochet, however happily claimed the whole time that it was "Online". Clearly, it was not.
