Bug Description

I'm running Precise with all updates. I found the following issue.

If I start Rhythmbox after a fresh login and close it, I can not start it again via the sound indicator menu. There is a little arrow left to the Rhythmbox icon, indicating Rhythmbox is still running. But there is no Rhythmbox process.

It is still possible to run Rhythmbox in the Dash.

Why has the rhythmbox mpris interface now have rhythmbox3 instead of rhythmbox. It should be the same as the name in the desktop file and the binary => "rhythmbox" - this is why it currently doesn't work properly with i-sound. Otherwise it will require a hack in i-sound to accommodate rb as a 'special' case....

This bug was fixed in the package rhythmbox - 2.95-0ubuntu3

---------------
rhythmbox (2.95-0ubuntu3) precise; urgency=low

  * debian/patches/git_use_correct_mpris_name.patch:
    - use the correctlu mpris name, should stop the indicator-sound to get
      confused on rhythmbox restarts (lp: #932684)

  [ Didier Roche ]
  * debian/rules:
    - ignore librhythmbox-core5 for shlib generation
