Thank you for the bug report. Also, please answer these questions:

* Is this crash reproducible?
* If so, which are the steps that lead to it?

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Changed in rhythmbox:
assignee: nobody → caravena
status: Unconfirmed → Needs Info

This problem is 100% reproducible.

To reproduce it, all I need to do is play ANY mp3 either by doubleclicking it
on the playlist or highlighting it and clicking the play button, and then
Rhythmbox disapears and the crash report box comes up.

I forgot to mention, when you run Rhythmbox in a terminal and try to play a song on my machine, this is what it says:

** (rhythmbox:7330): WARNING **: No property volume.disc.capacity on device with id /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_part_1_size_17168384

(rhythmbox:7330): Rhythmbox-WARNING **: Couldn't find an x overlay
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Not a perfect retrace since many ddebs are missing due to people.ubuntu.com being down. Please let me know if you need a better one.

The backtrace is similar to bug #89130, could you get a log with "GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 GST_DEBUG=5 rhythmbox &>log" and attach it to the bug?

I'm sorry guys, I'm a bit lost. Did you need me to do something to assist?
