rhythmbox crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke()

rhythmbox (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

This seems to occur when playing a media file while the Rhythmbox window is open, and then closing the player using the (X) button. The sound applet continues to show the file playing, but does not actually play any audio, and does not change it's status from appropriate user input.

This happens to me after quitting rhythmbox even if I'm not playing any music files. Also, it doesn't disappear from the volume control after quitting.

For me this happened just by opening Rhythmbox, and then closing it using the "Quit" menu.

For me, just like nilarimogard, but after playing some music before closing it.

It happens to me in a LIVE Session while ISO Testing. I was just looking at menus and I simply opened the new sound control widget.

I had the same bug in live session from USB. I opened Rhythmbox and tried to import some MP3s from a folder on my hard drive. I didn't install GStreamer MP3 plugin, the software configuration is default for Maverick Beta.

This happened after trying to play some mp3 files.
Thou the files can't be imported (I think tis will be another bug) the player crashes after closing.
