Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
Release: 10.04
rhythmbox:
  Installed: 0.12.8-0ubuntu3
  Candidate: 0.12.8-0ubuntu3
  Version table:
 *** 0.12.8-0ubuntu3 0
        500 http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

When I right click on a song and then on properties and try to edit it a box pop's up and tell's me:
" Erro ao salvar as informações da música
Não foi possível criar elementos de escrita de marcas"

trying to translate it:
" Error while saving song information
Unable to create tag-writing elements "

on the terminal:

(rhythmbox-metadata:19500): GStreamer-CRITICAL **:
Trying to dispose object "id3demux0", but it still has a parent "pipeline".
You need to let the parent manage the object instead of unreffing the object directly.

(rhythmbox-metadata:19500): GStreamer-CRITICAL **:
Trying to dispose object "id3v2mux0", but it still has a parent "pipeline".
You need to let the parent manage the object instead of unreffing the object directly.

Similar to Bug #532607 and Bug #555404
As I'm using UbuntuOne all music files are located on a shared drive (the /home/user/Music dir).
May be a UbuntuOne permission mess around.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better, however the report is missing some information, may you please run rhythmbox as: rhythmbox --debug &> rhythmbox-debug.txt ; perform the steps to reproduce the bug and attach that resulting log file to the report? Thanks in advance!.

I don't really know why.. but it is already fixed in my system.
maybe because ubuntuone is not syncing anymore the song's folder
maybe because I installed some missing packages with the EasyTag install... I really don't know why.
If I experience something like that again I'll run rhythmbox in debug mode.

If it helps anyway here is the txt while rhythmbox is working well.

At 10.10 it seems solved: Maverick 10.10 and Rhythmbox 0.13.1-0ubuntu6

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest stable version of Ubuntu - Maverick Meerkat.

This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please do steps 1 and 2 of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
