2010-02-21 17:04:18 Simon Déziel description Binary package hint: rhythmbox I was just listening to music and I got notified about a crash saying something about a tag creation that couldn't happen. I unfortunately have closed the pop-up too quickly. I had edit some tags of other files previously but at the moment of the crash I was only listening music. I don't know if it's related in any way but the music share is accessed over SSHFS. Even after the apport notification about the crash, Rhythmbox continued to play without problem. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch) Release: 10.04 $ apt-cache policy rhythmbox rhythmbox: Installed: 0.12.6git20100218-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 0.12.6git20100218-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 0.12.6git20100218-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Crash Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Feb 21 11:01:03 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/lib/rhythmbox/rhythmbox-metadata NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: rhythmbox 0.12.6git20100218-0ubuntu1 ProcCmdline: /usr/lib/rhythmbox/rhythmbox-metadata unix:tmpdir=/tmp ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-14.20-generic SegvAnalysis: Segfault happened at: 0x7f58efec9eb0 <g_object_newv+1936>: mov (%rsi),%rcx PC (0x7f58efec9eb0) ok source "(%rsi)" (0x745f646170206465) not located in a known VMA region (needed readable region)! destination "%rcx" ok SegvReason: reading unknown VMA Signal: 11 SourcePackage: rhythmbox StacktraceTop: g_object_newv () from /usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0 g_object_new_valist () g_object_new () from /usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0 gst_pad_new_from_template () ??
