error en visualizacion

versión karmic koala 9.10

mi programa de reproducción de musica Rhythmbox funcionaba muy bien, pero con la ultima actualización la visualización gráfica se detiene, es decir, en vez de mostrar la visualización no muestra nada, en ocasiones funciona y se ve la visualización, pero al cambiar de pista se queda congelada otra vez.

como mencioné antes funcionaba bien, con la actualización me ha estado produciendo errores la visualización gráfica.
