Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Steps to reproduce:
1. Subscribe to a video podcast, i.e. Cranky Geeks: http://feeds2.feedburner.com/ziffdavis/cgipodvideo
2. Download episode
3. Attach iPod
4. Drag podcast episode to iPod within Rhythmbox

Expected outcome: Video is quickly copied to iPod, and registered as a video podcast (see itdb_track types here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412841 )

Actual outcome: A lengthy transcoding process is initiated, and the file arrives on the iPod as an audio file.
