Bug Description

I don't know why but some podcast-feeds which I hear with Rhythmbox don't actualise.

To actualise such podcast-feeds I have to.

1. show properties of the feed
2. show details
3. mark the feed-address
4. copy the feed-address
5. close details
6. delete the feed
7. create a new feed with copied feed-address

7 steps to actualise a podcast-feed? Crazy!

(As some feeds behave correct I think it's a server side bug. Maybe the feed-setup is not correct. But THIS doesn't matter. Rhythmbox won't change the beaviour of any podcast-feed. So PLEASE, make Rhythmbox more flexible!)

A 'paper cut' is a minor usability annoyance that an average user would encounter on his/her first day of using a new installation of Ubuntu 9.10.

This is an invalid 'paper cut' because Rhythmbox will be replaced with Banshee Media Player in Ubuntu 9.10

Yes, just add a podcast like

http://rss.dw-world.de/xml/podcastwirtschaft

and after some days the podcast won't actualise.

> * What error do you get?

None, I just don't get any update.

I thought that it was just me, but well, looks like I've found someone with the exact same bug as the one I'm having since Rhythmbox 0.11. It's just crazy all the process I've got to do, all the days, to just hear some podcasts. I hope someone can correct this annoying bug.

If you want to know, this are some examples of podcast feeds (in portuguese) that I need to delete-and-then-add anytime I want to hear the recent editions:

I do that as well. It works. But it sucks.

Same issue here, only the first time i add a new feed it updates all the available episodes, and upon Rhytmbox restart it no longer updates the feeds. Additionally even if i delete and re-add the feed as explained above it appears as it has no new feeds.
