Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
According to pstree, rhythmbox has 132 child processes open.
This seems excessive, as rhythmbox is paused in the background with my Creative Zen MP3 player connected, but idle.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 64-bit.

Hi, can you please post the exact line from your pstree output - is it showing the processes in {'s - i.e. it's lots of threads
rather than processes?
It's just there is a known bug in Rhythmbox in 8.10 that it leaks a thread on each song played. It's fixed in the Jaunty 9.04 version.
(I can't find the bug entry for it)
