Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Hello,
1) Description: Ubuntu 8.10
Release: 8.10
2) rhythmbox:
Installé : 0.11.6svn200810
Candidat : 0.11.6svn200810

3) Synchronization of the music directory
4) I use dual boot, with Intrepid and Windows XP. So I shared a music directory on a partition between Ubuntu and XP. For each sub-directory, Windows creates an hidden (for XP) file "Thumbs.db" (a kind of thumbnail, I suppose).
At each synchronization of the music directory, Rhythmbox notices me a warning for each thumbs.db because it can't recognize their MIME type:
"Le type MIME du fichier n'a pu être reconnu" in french... Something like :
"MIME type hasn't be recognized" in English.
The same warnings are given for text files (*.txt in Windows) and Itunes files (*.itl & *.itdb in Windows).
It causes no problem for using Rhythmbox, but I think a lot of newbies could find it frightening to got so many warnings. These "errors" couldn't be ignored?
Finally, real import errors are flooded under many useless warnings.
I don't care if my media player is'nt able to import text files or any thumbnail system files, but I prefer to know if it failes to get audio files... ;-)
Thanks
