hearing internet radio stream results in frozen program

im using rhythmbox version 0.11.2-0ubuntu4 on ubuntu 7.10

after trying to connect to the internet radio stream on http://217.68.161.157:6300 which seems to be down at this moment, rhytombox gets freezen totally.
this bug is reproducible anytime connecting to a stream which is down at this moment

there have appeared new problems:

rhythmbox get frozen during mp3 playback. i produced a backtrace

Thanks for your report, the trace is missing some symbols, May you please install the gstreamer debugging packages and get a new one? thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. so i tested the hardy heron Alpha 6 version and rhythmbox works fine. doesnt't crash if im going to hear streams which are currently not available. all in all the new 8.04 version looks great and works perfect for an alpha version!
