Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

Screensaver (blank screen) activates when playing visualizations fullscreen in rhythmbox.
Scenario: Matt is having a party. Matt puts vis on fullscreen. Monitor turns black. Matt is upset.

This is about Rhythmbox not inhibiting GnomeScreensaver via D-BUS when doing visualization; reassigning.

This is a very old bug report. Can any please confirm if it's still an issue on 12.04 or 12.10?

Well, in 12.04, there is no visualisation any more. Problem solved, pacient died :(
There is a "party mode" (a.k.a. full screen), but it does not prevent screensaver either.
