"Tools" option in Rhythmbox music player does not show up with fullscreen

OS: 14.04 trusty
1. Launching Rhythmbox music player-
2. Find "tools" option does not show up.

There is nothing to show up in "Tools" ( menu is empty ), when rhythmbox is switched to fullscreen.
"Tools -> Plugins" is directly accessible as "Plugins" in the main menu. If you enable "Python Console" plugin, the "Tools" menu will have that entry though.
