Bug Description

In Rhythmbox, you can add either files or folders to the library (right-click
Library icon and click Add to Library, then select files/folders and click add.
After doing this, the music in any selected folders appears in the Rhythmbox
library, as expected. However, if you later download/rip music into folders
already added to the library, those new songs don't show
up in Rhythmbox unless you right-click the Library icon, and explicitly press
OK. Could this scan, initiated by right-clicking the Library icon and pressing
OK, be done each time Rhythmbox is start (or at least offer this as an option
inh preference).

the description is not clear to me. Your issue is than rhythmbox doesn't
automatically update the library according to the disk changes ?

Yes - that's what I mean - if you add folders to the library, and subsequently
add files to those folders,
the files you added to those folders never appear in Rhythmbox unless you
explicitly add them.
