Bug Description

I am currently testing Ubuntu 7.10 64 on a amd64 and found a rhythmbox problem:

When hearing an MP3/OGG which is loud and having Rhythmbox's volume control set loud causes snaps.

Setting the volume control the avoids the problem - but this is not a solution.

I have also tested it with another soundcard and with another PC, an i386 notebook.

I can send you an example OGG if you need it.

(You can switch to the gapless/crossfading backend in "Preferences" to alleviate the problem.)
