Bug Description
I am running Ubuntu 14.04 x64 deveklopment release fully updated to 12/31/13. When Rhythmbox is launched the volume slider is all the way down so that the volume is off by default. The volume control does work but it has to be moved up each time the application is used to have sound.

The bug with the volume control dissapears once music is stored for it to find in the music folder. I re-booted the computer, re-launched Rhythmbox and the volume was just as I left it. I have no idea why the program would not remember the volume setting before the music folder was populated but it does retain the setting once the media is there.
