Rhythmbox freezes and can't be kill -9

After leaving audio paused for an extended period of time, Rhythmbox becomes a zombie process and can't be ended using kill -9. The same issue happens with banshee however banshee becomes a <defunct> process.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.
