Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Overview:
Shuffle mode seems to not be actually random: maybe the random seed isn't randomized. Given the same list of songs, hitting Play in a list always starts on the same song.

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Select some items in the artist/album lists such that 3 or 4 songs are displayed.
  2. Turn on Shuffle mode, but not Repeat.
  3. Hit play. Click Next through the list until it's done. Note the order.
  4. Repeat 3 until convinced that this has a very high probability of not being random.

Expected Results:
Different order of songs from the previous round at least most runs through the list.

Actual Results:
  Same order each time.
