Quitting Rhythmbox from the quicklist doesn't quit

Open rhythmbox and play some media.
Get on with work
Stop working, and choose to close the media player.
As Rhythmbox is no longer the focussed app whilst working, right click the Rhythmbox icon and choose "Quit" from the quicklist.

Note that the audio carries on playing.
I would expect the app to quit.

Note: pressing the close window control does the same thing, but I'd expect that. What's unexpected is that Quit inside the application properly quits the app, but Quit from the quicklist menu in unity doesn't. This seems inconsistent.

Choosing Quit from the quicklist is actually worse, because when I want to stop the music I quit from the quicklist, the icon disappears so I then have to rummage in the sound menu to stop RB from playing, or restart RB and re-quit from the menu.
