Rhythm box freezes consistently

I seem to get about 1.5 songs out of Rhythm box until it freezes. I haven't worked out the cause, only that it's consistent, and isn't related to which music I play (although all my music is ogg).

I didn't watch to see if the following message appeared right when it freezes, but nonetheless, the terminal shows:

Could you test if this bug exist in new rhythmbox 2.97 version?

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
