X.org wrongly configured after ati closed source driver installation

Bug Description
goto System -> Administration -> Manage restricted Drivers
install fglrx
X-server restarts.
After that my keyboard Layout was changed to english (was german before). Could be changed back in config menu.
GDM still uses the english layout.
X.org didn't recognize the optimal resolution for my Laptop monitor. Had to change Xorg.conf manually.
Only had 1024x768 instead of 1280x800
