Bug Description
Binary package hint: restricted-manager
I've a NVIDIA 7600 Graphic card and I use freisty.
When I install the NVIDIA driver by the new restricted-manager it change my screen resolution and my character set.
I know that NVIDIA is closed source but If I install the NVIDIA driver by downloading it from it from the NVIDA website, Kill the X and typing sudo sh ./Graphic-driver.sh it don't change my screen resolutio nor my character set.
I've fixed the problems that the Restricted-manager gave my by editing in the xorg.

This sounds like bug 94549 which was fixed after beta. I assume that you have a feisty beta installation?
