Bug Description

Binary package hint: resolvconf

Hello,

my /etc/network/interfaces looks similar to the attached file, I only exchanged names and addresses. If the package resolvconf is installed, after booting the file /etc/resolv.conf contains only a comment that the file should not be edited by hand.

In Ubuntu 9.04 with resolvconf installed, the contents of /etc/resolv.conf were correct.

Regards
  Christoph
