This is due to a change in rescue 1.12 that tried to db_subst a question that only exists for some of the options on the rescue menu. Checking its return code is sufficient. This has been done in rescue 1.14 in Debian, which will be synced into intrepid once it's open for business. |

http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13983875/218549.diff is a patch suitable for hardy-proposed. Note that debian-installer needs to be uploaded afterwards for this to be testable.
Possible regressions for this patch should be limited to other entries on the rescue menu not working, which can easily be verified. |
