Bug Description

Binary package hint: remmina

I only use Remmina for connecting to Windows machines, so I don't know if this happens on other protocols. The problem is that the Windows/super key is always pressed. I can tell because if I type "D" all windows are minimized and the desktop is shown (since Win+D is show desktop). It happens in a similar manner with "E", which opens the file browser as if I was pressing Win+E. As a result, the keyboard becomes almost unusable and many times I've been forced to use other clients to access the machines.

Using Ubuntu 10.10, Remmina 0.80.

I get a similar problem using the nx protocol to a Linux machine. The shift key frequently gets stuck. If I type enough characters with the shift key held/released it usually gets unstuck eventually, until the next time.

Also using Ubuntu 10.10, Remmina 0.80

+1 on this problem. Remmina is possibly the best RDP solution for Linux, still this bug is so nasty it stops me from using it.

Confirmed January 18th, still unassigned... Really?

Incidentally, with 0.9.3 here, pressing "Super" once, as suggested in the above link, does nothing. Super is on from login to logoff for me, connecting to a local VM running 12.04 Beta from an 11.10 host.

This did not occur for me until I upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04. I use Unity and when I use super+w to switch applications the super key gets stuck every time!
Now remmina is unusable. It is simply too frustrating to use now.
