Grey (gray) status bar shadow shown on top in fullscreen mode

RDP to WIndows Server 2008 R2 SP2. When launching a full screen session, the grey drop shadow of the Unity status bar is displayed over the top of the session, as in the attached screenshot. This bug was not present before I upgraded to 13.04. Connecting to the same server using rdesktop in full screen works fine.
