when remmina starts an rdp connection, the screen inside the window is moved up right

When I start a rdp connect in remmina (I didn't try with vnc or ssh) the window of the remote machine is moved up and right as in the screenshot. I have to resize the window to make it properly displayed.

What happens
===========

I start Remmina, double-click the defined connection for this server. I am asked for the password.
See attached screenshot remmina1.jpg for what the initial screen looks like after connecting to a win2k8 r2 server.
This is reproducible.

What I expect to happen
===================

I expect the Remmina window to fit the selected custom resolution, similar to the screenshot remmina1.jpg but without the black stripes above and below the Remmina window

Workaround
==========

After the initial start, I press Ctrl_R+F twice to turn on fullscreen mode and turn off fullscreen mode again. The result is remmina2.jpg

A quick fix is to use a newer build, I used the PPA from here: https://launchpad.net/~remmina/+archive/ubuntu/testing
Or just do:
apt-add-repository ppa:remmina/testing
apt-get update
apt-get install remmina remmina-plugin-rdp remmina-plugin-vnc

Leonardo Corato, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue with the latest version of remmina in Precise, or a later version of Ubuntu?

If so, please execute the following via a terminal as it will gather necessary debugging information:
apport-collect 1014555

As well, please provide click-for-click steps to reproduce this problem.

This bug is still present in Remmina version 0.9.99.1, shipped with Ubuntu Trusty 14.04.2 LTS.

In the GH issue <https://github.com/FreeRDP/Remmina/issues/69> the authors of Remmina claim this bug has been fixed in Remmina version 1.x (released in February 2014).
