feature request: commandline transient override

Bug #1370861 reported by Jeff Abrahamson on 2014-09-18

redshift (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Redshift's automatic mode is great, but when I wake up on an Autumn or Winter morning, it would be nice to be able to override redshift and ask for the colorbalance for dawn or day.

Of course, I could just kill redshift and restart it later, but I'd like it to come back to night mode when the sun sets later in the day.

Perhaps this is already possible, in which case this bug is about the documentation (texinfo/man pages) instead.
