Bug Description

Graphics chip is Intel GMA 500 (aka Poulsbo), and the problem only occurs using the open source in-kernel module (psb_gfx or gma_500 in later kernel versions) on Ubuntu 12.04. When using Ubuntu 11.10 with the proprietary EMGD, colour temperature rises as intended. As can be seen in the attached file the program appears to alter the colour but no difference on the screen.
