Version issues

Redmine is continuously updated, and this shipped version has several internal bugs that make usage difficult.
(eg: Issues reassigning parent issue, corrupting the current issue and the parent issue, preventing edits.)

vivid, wiley, xenial all have 3.0~20140825-[5,8]
trusty is stuck back on 2.4.2-1

Additionally, the internal version reports as "2.5.2.devel" on the 3.0~20140825 versions (confirmed on debian 8, reported on ubuntu elsewhere )

When I see that correct, we have a not stable version in Ubuntu LTS in April. Can we updated to a stable release? The last stable release is 3.2.0.
