Bug Description

Binary package hint: recordmydesktop

Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
Installed: 0.3.8.1-0ubuntu1
Candidate: 0.3.8.1-0ubuntu1

When using the -delay option in recordmydesktop, eg.:

recordmydesktop --width 1024 --height 640 --device pulse --fps 25 --channels 1 --delay 5 --overwrite -o outfile.ogv

the recorded audio is out of sync with the video, playing a few seconds behind. Using the following command, the audio and video are in sync:

sleep 5; recordmydesktop --width 1024 --height 640 --device pulse --fps 25 --channels 1 --freq 44100 --overwrite -o

I thought it might be to do with the window manager I was using, but it occurs in both compiz and metacity.
