Missing dependency for Realmd

When working with realmd, it says in the /usr/lib/realmd/realmd-distro.conf that packagekit is used to determine which packages are installed. Realmd doesnt list packagekit as a dependency and if it is not installed, it won't join because it can't find if the required packages are installed.

4) Packagekit is needed but not listed as a dependency

yes you are right. I've linked the bug in Debian that tracks this (and another dependency-related issue).

This was fixed in realmd 0.16.3-2 which is available in Ubuntu 19.04 and newer.
