Bug Description
When using the following command to copy large files to a remote system: rsync -v -i -r -u -O --delete --copy-links --no-t --progress ...
with share mounted as follow:
sudo mount -t cifs //$IP/HDD1 /media/PLAYONHD -o username=
progress used to be reported correctly in 10.04; now in 12.04, progress is NOT reported timely and MB/sec is often completely wrong: should be around 3.5 MB/s but some times shows 85 MB/s.
