Bug Description

TSClient doesn't work, if you are using beryl. For some reason, the RGB-signal coming from the Windows computer is interpreted as ARGB, or something like that, causing almost everything to be completely transparent.

As with bug #14911, a usable fix is to run XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 tsclient in a terminal, but that leaves the tsclient applet rather useless.

I can confirm this issue, although I think it has to do with XGL not beryl.

I can confirm this too, and add that if your terminal server gives you only 256 colors the behaviour does not occur.

i have the same problem as shown on the screenshot.. Except beryl isn't even installed. The fix is working. Running 6.10, with Radeon X600, xorg-driver-fglrx.

Hi. It seems to be a rdesktop issue, once tsclient is just a frontend to it.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 alpha?

Is there any chance this related to tsclient behavior reported in

Notice my post (and another reference above it) to something that acts almost like a "ghost" tsclient instance.
