Bug Description
Binary package hint: rdesktop
rdesktop is constantly spewing error messages to standard error.
Regular users will not see these messages if they have started the application from a menu; however, their .xsession-errors will rapidly fill up with repeated identical messages (see also LP bug #15027). Adding insult to injury, there is no indication in this scenario which application is producing these -- to a normal user -- completely useless diagnostics.

Actually an additional criterion for these messages to appear is to run VMware workstation on the remote server.
In this case, it's VMware Workstation 6.5.0.4558 running on Windows Server 2008.
