Two more things I noticed:

- rdesktop timesout if kept idle for 15-20 minutes
- sometimes when rdesktop freezes the a few of the windows are not close-able
- sometimes a few windows show blank screen as well

This behavior is quite odd. I downloaded a couple of more old and newer versions, compiled but still couldn't get a stable RDP connection. This seems to be problem with Ubuntu core..!
