Bug Description
Binary package hint: randomsound
Installing the "randomsound" package causes Pulseaudio to stop functioning at the next reboot. The sound hardware is no longer detected when this package is installed. Removing the "randomsound" package resolves the issue.
There is a workaround, in the sense that once the system is booted, if you log in to a shell, then run "alsa force-reload", you'll get sound back. But upon the next reboot, the sound goes away again. Removing the "randomsound" package will resolve the issue.
