Bug Description

Binary package hint: radiotray

Radiotray 0.6.0 + doesn't work on Kubuntu 11.04 64-bit.
Despite the fact that I have all dependencies satisfied, running the app as root in a terminal, I've got the following:
No protocol specified
/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py:57: GtkWarning: could not open display
  warnings.warn(str(e), _gtk.Warning)

in my case it just does nothing, no error message either, just nothing, using radiotray 0.6.3 here

I've managed to get radiotray 0.6.1 working on Kubuntu 11.04 64-bit. I don't know why but after the installations of Pychess, the app now runs flawless. What could it be?

Did the same thing as George, and it works.

Since there have been some packages, that have been automatically installed with pychess (gnome-icons/gtk-libs etc), I guess there are dependencies in the radiotray-package, that are missing and thus unresolved until one installs them manually or installs pychess.

Thank you George!
