This merge looks like valueless. However, Debian has added postrm file and I think that we can bring changes from Debian.

Based on the comments in bug #506985, I think this delta should have been dropped in maverick (it was only to support pre-lucid upgrades). After looking at the package diffs, this is the only real difference between Ubuntu and Debian now, so I think this bug should be changed from a merge to a sync.
