Bug Description

Binary package hint: quodlibet

By default, quodlibet doesn't play module files, and suggests to install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly.

After installing them, though, making it to play these files produces only a silence, despite the song timer count running.

Restarting quodlibet doesn't help.

The installed version of gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly is 0.10.15-1 -- for some reason apport-bug didn't catch this optional dependency.

As far as I can see mod support comes with gstreamer0.10-plugins-baad.
Could you check for that?

Can't reproduce on Maverick.

Indeed, I cannot reproduce this any longer (I was and still am running
Maverick).

Please, feel free to consider this issue closed.

Fresh upgrade of Lucid to Maverick
Trying to play mp3, ogg, flac or ma4 doesn't output sound.
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad, ~bad-multiverse, ~ugly and ~ugly-multiverse are installed.
song timer count is running

If that's still a problem, please reopen.
